Dragon Teardrops should be placed directly in your cup (3-5 per 10 ounces of water) and allowed to steep directly in the water. We suggest you resteep these gems at least once as the second and third cups are just as delicious, if not moreso.

- Heat water to 175-180°F (not quite boiling).** A kettle with a temperature setting is ideal for green tea.
- Pour hot water over green tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons per 8 oz water) in a teapot or infuser.
- Cover and steep for 2-3 minutes. Green tea should not be over-steeped, as it can become bitter.
- Strain and enjoy! Green tea is traditionally enjoyed without milk or sugar.
- For a milder cup, use less tea or a shorter steeping time.
- High-quality green tea leaves from The Spice Hut will result in a more flavorful and delicate brew.
- Consider using a tea timer to ensure precise steeping times, especially for green tea which can become bitter if over-steeped.
