White Tea Brewing Instructions
Savor the delicate taste of white tea with these gentle brewing steps:
- Heat water to 175-180°F (not quite boiling). White tea should not be steeped with boiling water.
- Pour hot water over white tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons per 8 oz water) in a teapot or infuser.
- Cover and steep for 1-2 minutes. White tea should not be over-steeped, as it can become bitter. Shorter steeping times are recommended for a more delicate flavor.
