Chai Tea Brewing Instructions
Indulge in the warm flavors of chai tea with this easy brewing method:
- Simmer equal parts water and milk in a saucepan (or adjust the ratio to your preference). You can use dairy or non-dairy milk.
- While the milk heats, add 1-2 teaspoons of loose chai tea leaves (or a chai tea bag) to your mug.
- Once the milk simmers, **do not boil**, pour it over the tea leaves and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Strain and enjoy!** You can add honey, sugar, or other sweeteners to taste.
- For a stronger chai flavor, use more tea leaves or a longer steeping time.
- For a frothier chai, whisk the hot milk before pouring it over the tea leaves.
