The name Gunpowder is derived from the style in which the tea is prepared and shape the green tea leaves are formed into. The Organic Green tea tea leaves are twisted into small gunpowder like twists of tea which you use 2 or 3 beads to brew a cup. The flavor is nutty vegetal and has a light smoky aftertaste. A stronger green tea for a more invigorating day.
