Ingredients:
- 1 cup white rice (uncooked)
- 1 yellow onion (minced)
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp. Spice Hut ® Za’atar
1. Preheat oven to 375° F and light grease a 1 qt. baking dish. In large skillet, melt coconut oil over medium-high heat.
2. Add onions to skillet and cook 3-5 minutes.
3. Add rice and cook an additional 3-5 minutes until slightly golden.
4. Add broth and Spice Hut ® Za’atar and stir until thoroughly mixed. Simmer for 5 minutes then remove from heat, and transfer to baking dish.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
6. Serve hot with Spice Hut ® Crispy Berbere Chicken.
