Prep Time: 5 minutes, Cook Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 4 services

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of garbanzo beans
  • 1 onion (minced)
  • 1½” ginger root (minced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 5 oz. tomato paste
  • ½ tsp. turmeric
  • 2 tsp. Spice Hut ® Madras Curry
  • 1½ cups of water
  • Salt to taste

 

1. Sauté onion, ginger and garlic in olive oil until golden brown.

2. Add tomato paste; cook 3 minutes.

3. Add Spice Hut ® Madras Curry, turmeric and salt to taste.

4. Add garbanzo beans, 1½ cups of water and cook another 20 minutes.

5. Serve hot over rice!
